Purpose of department / team
The data team is responsible for the total handling of consumers data of several different clients (retailers) of Loyalty Lab in order to accomplish optimized campaigns and actions according to the 1-on-1 philosophy. Due to this the department has an internal and service oriented character.
Purpose of the function
The (Junior) Database Analyst will be placed on projects for different clients of Loyalty Lab under the guidance of Senior Data Analysts and CRM Implementation Consultants. Mostly he/she will be part of the team and will be responsible for the disclosure of data, the execution of database marketing analysis, reports, segmentations, development of (predictive) static models and giving advise on this to the customers .
Dimensions of the function
With guidance of Senior Data Analysts and the CRM Implementation Consultants to finally grow autonomous along with the organization. The (Junior) Data Analyst will participate in several Account meetings and the team meeting of the Database Marketing department. You will work with the newest technologies and will be part of a young and enthusiastic team in a nice working environment. Besides this the function has an international aspect since the (Junior) Data Analyst also will work for our offices in Germany and Belgium.
Important responsibilities and activities
Judging the composition, quality, origin and usefulness of data regarding specific questions
· Analyzing data through common data-analyses methods and techniques and making those practically applicable for marketing communication goals
· Realizing integrated databases through several source files
· Carry out the philosophy and contribution to the team spirit of Loyalty Lab
· Supporting the Senior Data Analysts and the CRM Implementation Consultants; in which a pro-active and inquisitive behavior is leading.

Necessary education/training and/or qualifications
· HBO working and thinking level, preferably technical education
Preference experience and knowledge
• Minimum of two years relevant working experience
• Experience with direct marketing
• Purposeful analyzing client requirements and existing processes

• Known with marketing database surroundings and capable of handling with relational databases
• Knowledge and experience with statistic software package/datamining suite such as Statistica, SAS and/or SPSS an reports/query tools as Business Objects, MsExcell and SQL
• Experience with adequate data preparation and pre-processing of data facts

· Communicative capable. Excellent expressional qualities and good knowledge of the Dutch and English language both written and verbal
